Makeup Geek Haul

I've been following the Makeup Geek brand for a little while and finally decided to make a purchase after seeing beautiful swatches of their gel eye liners. I've been looking for nonconventional shades for a while now and whenever I would find something that looks nice, they always had glitter in it, which I think ruins the shade. I've been looking for teal or purple shades for a while, and while MUG's Amethyst—a purple liner, no less—was sold out at the time, I found other things that grabbed my attention.

I chose Fame: a dark aquatic teal with a navy undertone and a smooth shimmery finish, and Poison: a rusty red color with a matte finish.

Both swatched. Like their website says, they're "smooth, rich, and long lasting". I've gone a 12 hour day with them and they really do stay! I'm impressed! Their gel liners go for $8.99USD, which I think is a fair price.

On top of grabbing these liners, I decided to check out some of their other eye products. I purchased 2 shades of their loose pigments:

I chose Sweet Dreams: a light fleshed toned beige pink with slight shimmer, and New Year's Eve: a light gold reflective glitter.

Both shadows swatched on top of UD Primer Potion. I've been really into flesh/neutral toned shadows with shimmer and gold glitters. I am happy with these shades for sure! I got them both for $6.99USD, which again, I feel like was a reasonable price.

I put Fame and New Year's Eve together and love the results. I've worn all 4 products interchangeably over the past week or so. I'm so happy with Makeup Geek's products that I will most definitely make purchases in the future.

I still can't get the winged liner thing down. I don't like how it looks on me, or rather I can't find the right angle for it. Ah well.
