GEO Spade Grey Lenses from

A few months ago I did a review on GEO Hyper Bella Violet Circle Lenses that I got from These were given me for free as part of their review program. However though, I did the review at the end of last year and a shipment of my free lens were sent out at the beginning of December. 3 months had passed and nothing showed up! I contacted SL and they were nice enough to send me a replacement pair.

However this time they forgot to add a contact lens case, so I had to find one of my own (Good thing I'm a regular contact lens wearer).

These lenses are very plain, but I figured that because I have blue eyes, I didn't know what exactly would go great with my eyes since circle lenses are usually intended for the brown eyes of Asian wearers. I also just wanted the enlarging power of the circle lens.

These lenses are manufactured by GEO in Korea, with a base curve of 8.6, diameter of 15mm and 38% water content. I found them a lot easier to put into my eyes and didn't slip off my finger as much as the Hyper Bella Violet ones did.

Unfortunately though, they started to burn my eyes! I've been trying to wear them ever since the beginning of April when I received these, but they always burn. I've tried cleaning them multiple times but I cant have them in my eyes for more than 2 minutes. After reading HYSTERICMINT's post on how circle lenses damaged her eyes I've become paranoid. Thankfully this pair was free so it's no loss to me.

I'm still going to try and wear them more or maybe perhaps find a different solution to hopefully stop them from burning.

Overall Rating:

  1. Reminds me of my pair that I have yet to review u___u All those lenses failing on me, look gorgeous on you because of your super light eye colour.

    1. lol you have so many, i don't blame you. Thank you. There's so many designs I would love to try, but I don't think colors like brown or pink would look good on my blue eyes D:

  2. I'm dying to try out a pair of circle lenses, I'm so curious as to how it would look on me. Unfortunately I don't have a good excuse to buy them ;D These look great on you, but the burning doesn't sound good D: Circle lenses always sound tricky, I think Hystericmint's experience is an extreme case, but it's best to be careful. You already have very pretty, big eyes anyway ;)

    1. I actually got them to stop burning right after I finished writing this post :D And yea, hystericmint has been wearing circle lenses for a very long time and she wears them longer than I do. I just got a bit paranoid :x

      Haha aww, thanks :3
