Wet'n'Wild Mega Last Lipstick | Red Velvet & Carrot Gold

In my previous FOTD post, I had given bright red lips a try, even though it was only red eyeshadow. I liked it so much that I decided to go out and find me some bright red lipsticks. Of course, before any makeup trip, I like doing my research so that I have an idea what to look out for and what would possibly suit my skintone.

I wanted some cheap and affordable and from a decent brand. I decided to look up Wet'n'Wild's lipsticks since I have seen some reviews floating around the web. After several swatch posts, I finally found the 2 colors that I want the more: Red Velvet (bright red) and Carrot Gold (coral orange)

I made a trip out to Walmart and headed straight for the cosmetics section. I was disappointed that they didn't have any testers for the display, but that's not Walmart's fault. They had plenty of each shade and I didn't waste any time finding the colors that I wanted. They go for $3.77 CAD, which I still think is pretty cheap, regardless whether they're cheaper in the US or not.



As soon as I got home, I took the opportunity to swatch them and they're perfect! I'm in love with the colors. Now I'm not a regular lipstick wearer, so I still need to build up the courage to wear these in public :x But I think that having these shades look nice on me should give me the confidence to wear them out.

The formula is amazing! I can already tell that it's fabulous and just right, as soon as I applied it because it didn't dry out my lips or fill in the cracks of my lips like most lipsticks do *cough*lime crime*cough* I have even blotted it with tissue and the color still stays. I have worn it for about 2 hours or so and it's still on! Even as I wipe it off, there's still some color, so the staining is great.
