April FOTD Calendar Challenge | Day 6: Mermaid (+ others)

I've been falling behind! I've wanted to try and do one look a day and I've been so busy over the past couple of days that I didn't get to. However, I did take some time today to catch up, even though you don't really have to. I thought I'd start off by posting today's look: MERMAID
 

Products used:
• ProFace stage makeup white (base)
• Beauty Factory 120 Palette (light blue, sky blue, turquoise, hot pink, purple)
• Sugarpill Loose Eyeshadow in Lumi
• GOSH Kohl Eyeliner in Denmark
• Lancome Paris Hypnose Mascara
• pink fake lashes
• Smashbox Lipstick in Pout

I'm really proud of this look! When most people think of mermaids, it's either The Little Mermaid (red head mermaid) or something along the lines of Aquamarine (blonde haired mermaid), so I thought that I should use that to my advantage since I have the red hair. I definitely would not say that this is inspired by The Little Mermaid, but it's generally typical "mermaid" type colors. After applying all the shadows, I was excited because I remembered I have pink lashes, so I threw them on. I'm always so bad with lashes... I never want to trim them :x


Anyways, under the break are the past few days' worth of looks that I did earlier this morning :x

DAY 3: Shop Your Stash





Products used:
• NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil Milk
• L'Oreal HiP Eyeshadow Duo in Flamboyant
• Rimmel Duo eyeliner (light + dark purple)
• Claire's lipgloss
• Lancome Paris Hypnose Volume Mascara

So the point of this look is to look for things in your stash that you basically don't use/havent used before. I had thrown out a lot of old makeup recently so this was the only thing I had that was old. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the Lancome mascara because it gave me great volume! I got it as a sample as a gwp and never really used it. Now I'm considering buying the full product (if they still make it). As for the eyeshadow duo, it was meh. I know I bought this way back in the day when I was doing visual kei tutorials because I was looking for a yellow color, so I barely used the purple.


DAY 4: Color Block

• Lime Crime's Mirror Mirror loose eyeshadow
• Rimmel Duo Eyeliner (dark purple side)
• Lancome Paris Hypnose Volume Mascara
• CoverGirl TruShine Liptstick #400

I tried looking this up first hand, but it wasn't really clear. I'm not sure what color blocking is, so I just did this... It's plain, but I kind of like it haha.


DAY 5: Monochrome

• Beauty Factory 120 Palette (bright orange, dark orange, light orange, golden yellow)
• Lancome Paris Hypnose Volume Mascara

I loooove orange. I used to wear it a lot before when I had orange + blonde hair. I mean, it still looks all right with my red hair, but it's just not the same.
