EOTD: Firey Red

Wahoo~ My first EOTD! Although technically this was yesterday's, I decided to share it today.

I must admit that I'm slowly beginning to start wearing makeup again. Ever since I dyed my hair red (Aug 2010) I feel like my makeup options were limited. I look terrible with black eyeliner. It makes me miss my bleach blond hair. Anyways, I thought I'd try to get back into the game, exploring new options and what not—and I'm not afraid of bright, bold colors either.

So what I used for this look was:
• Beauty Factory 120 Palette red color
• Sugarpill's Asylum
• Wet'N'Wild Mascara
• NYX Jumbo Eyeliner pencil in Milk
• Anabelle Lip Liner in Cherry (used as eyeliner)
• Anabelle Kohl Pencil Eyeliner in Black
• Urban Decay Primer Potion Original

In retrospect, there was too much red and I could have added some orange or something, since there wasn't enough variance between the 2 shadows.

I definitely need to get my game back and practice more... If anyone could recommend any looks or even colors to try with my hair, eyes and complexion, please do tell! Would really appreciate it :')

  2. You are gorgeous, I agree completely with Meokio. Don't let anyone else tell you what not to do/ to do. Suggestions are totally different, as are -constructive- criticism, but blatant rudeness and disregard for you as a beautiful woman..well..should be ignored. :)

From what I can see, your eyes are more blue-toned blue-green eyes, but that might be the camera, perhaps. But if your open to bright colors and looks, you can always try out a 'sunset' look. There's many ways to spin it to your tastes, and with the right colors from certain brands the colors blend really well and might go really well with your hair, complexion and eye color.

Im totally hitting the follow button..like..nao, and I can't wait to see more looks from you!
